Nicnac

Nicnac is an independent, Toronto-based studio. Asymmetry and imperfection guide the creation of these objects, complementing the wearer’s movement. They are intended to act not just as accessories but as an extension of the self. At its core, nicnac intends to question and explore the role of the accessory in design and fashion, and the often gendered nature of it.

Each piece requires a unique process that involves some combination of laser cutting, etching, polishing, and shaping with heat.
