A division of the Office of the President, University Events and Ceremonies is responsible for advancing the mission and vision of the University by delivering large-scale, inclusive events that foster institutional excellence and enhance the University’s reputation.

Convocation

Convocation is a significant milestone that recognizes the academic achievements of TMU graduates. Friends, family, and the TMU community come together to celebrate convocation at the Mattamy Athletic Centre each spring and fall.

University Events

Our University Events portfolio plans and executes impactful and meaningful events that enhance TMU’s reputation and engage with students, faculty and staff. We work to collaborate with all areas of the campus community to celebrate the university’s milestones and achievements.

Indigenous Events and Special Projects

In close collaboration with Indigenous leaders, students, groups and departments at TMU, the Indigenous Events and Special Projects portfolio serves all TMU community members in acknowledging, celebrating and learning from Indigenous communities as a core-component of their university experience.
