Associate Dean, Research, Dr. Ozgur Turetken, presented his research on Consumer Sentiment Analysis to Information Systems faculty and doctoral students at Auburn University’s Harbert Business College.

He shared the findings from his paper " A Comparative Study of Sentiment Analysis Scores and Star Ratings for Consumer Reviews" in which he suggested that sentiment analysis tools are not only very effective in detecting the underlying tone of analyzed content, but can also be used as a complement to star ratings, or as an alternative when such ratings are unavailable.

The Harbert College of Business thanked Dr.Turetken for sharing his research findings in person.
