Noura Sakkijha (external link) (MBA ‘09), Founder and CEO of Mejuri, was proudly recognized as one of GLORY Professional’s esteemed Champions of Change (external link) . Whilst growing to an internationally renowned cult jewelry brand, some of Mejuri’s recent developments include the launch of its own Empowerment Fund which support education for underrepresented individuals, investments in regenerative mining and signing the sustainability-focused UN Global Compact – the first Canadian jewelry brand to do so.
Rochelle Atizado (external link) (Global Management Studies ‘11), Senior Advisor, Partnerships & Special Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation was named in the Top 100 Women of 2023 by the WXN (Women’s Executive Network) (external link) . Atizado leads social impact partnerships with purpose-driven companies, creative community, civil society, young people and the UN to advance the Sustainable Development Goals. Atizado is also a UN published writer.
