April 2024 Free Food Initiative

Member of food services passing free food box to student

In an effort to reduce stress and ensure students had the fuel they needed to ace their Winter 2024 exams, we partnered with the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students and six student societies to provide free hot meals and snacks to interested undergraduate and graduate students. Operating out of the Hub Café, Mattamy Athletics Centre and the Ted Rogers School of Management, we served up more than 18,200 free meals and snacks between April 15-25, 2024.

This initiative wouldn’t have been possible with the generous support of the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students, the Faculty of Community Services Society (FCSS) (external link) , the Metropolitan Undergraduate Engineering Society (MUES) (external link) , the Society of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (SASSH) (external link) , the Society of The Creative School (SCS) (external link) , the Ted Rogers Students’ Society (TRSS) (external link)  and the Undergraduate Science Society of Toronto Metropolitan University (USSTM) (external link) .
