Fashion collaborates with KITE Creates and FIBRE's healthcare
Fashion meets functions in a partnership (external link, opens in new window) combining KITE Creates' and FIBRE's healthcare innovation with Fashion students’ design expertise. Fashion professor Caron Phinney’s Human Centred Design (opens in new window) students met with PhD candidates and postdoc researchers working on wearable technology at the KITE Research Institute. Over the course of the semester, students will develop and present prototypes and suggestions for the products they have seen through KITE. Through this initiative, students will gain valuable experience collaborating with healthcare innovators and expand their knowledge beyond traditional fashion pathways.
