Chrysalis to be the developing grounds for new musical soundtracked by The Tragically Hip
A new musical, It's a Good Life If You Don’t Weaken, will be developed in partnership with The Creative School Chrysalis. Featuring the music from The Tragically Hip, the show tells a powerful story of family, resilience, and friendship set in Toronto’s Kensington Market. Producers David and Hannah Mirvish and Michael Rubinoff will spearhead the project, integrating the band's iconic songs into an original narrative. Chrysalis will play a key role in shaping the production, providing a space for innovation and collaboration. This partnership highlights Chrysalis as an incubator to foster new theatrical works and support Canada’s creative industries.
