Audio Equipment

The EDC offers a wide variety of microphones (shotgun, lav, condenser, dynamic, etc.), recorders, mixers, monitors (speakers) and more.

Shotgun Mic
Shotgun Mic

Supercardioid pick-up pattern. Good for dialogue and foley recording. Can be camera mounted or used with a boompole.

Hand-held Omni-directional mic. Best used for interviews and vocal recordings.

Unidirectional dynamic microphone. Best used for musical instrument pickup or for vocals.

Wired Lavalier

Omni-directional lapel mic. Best used for interviews or vocal recordings. Recommended to be used over wireless lavs when possible.

Wireless Lavalieres

Omni-directional lapel mic. Best used for interviews or vocal recordings where wired lavaliers would be a hindrance.

Comes in a set of mic, mic clip, XLR to 1/8" cable, transmitter and receiver.
