Introducing Catalyst Connect

The Catalyst at FCAD has launched Catalyst Connect, a new virtual space designed to connect and share scholarly research and creative (SRC) work within the FCAD community. As social distancing becomes the new normal, we are moving more than ever to an online space where we can collaborate and create a sense of community within the digital realm. 

Catalyst Connect is an extension of The Catalyst where we can showcase the work of The Catalyst community, our talented researchers and SRC more globally. This platform was created to showcase SRC work particularly in the COVID-19 and social distancing climate. However, it will continue to play an integral role in how The Catalyst functions in a more accessible and flexible way. 

Catalyst Connect is built with three specific components to engage our community.

Podcasts 

This will be a new way to listen to our research talks on the go. We understand that life is busy, and you may not always be able to stop by our events. We’ve got you covered! We will be bringing our talks, interviews with researchers, and more to wherever you listen to your podcasts. We’ll also post podcasts that we think are interesting and relevant to our community.

Videos

We’ll be posting content and developing new content. Check out our video series “Research in 60 Seconds” where you can meet our researchers and get a quick rundown of their research and its importance. 

Blog Posts 

Expect blog posts where we dive deeper into specific research topics, industry trends, and much more. Stay tuned! 

We are excited to grow Catalyst Connect to continue to find new ways of showcasing what makes The Catalyst so exciting.
