Role Play Competition

The Canadian University Sales Competition (CUSC) is a tournament-style competition that includes a role-play first-round, semifinals, and a final round. Each competitor will be evaluated by sales industry leaders on their approach and rapport, needs identification, presentation, handling of objections, closing, and communications skills based on the scoring rubric. Each round of the role play competition will be a 10 minute sales meeting. The roleplay will be based on a case with one of the competition’s sponsors. Representatives from the corporate sponsor’s company will act as the buyer for the roleplay.

Speed Sell Competition

The Canadian University Sales Competition (CUSC) will host a speed sell competition where students will deliver a 60 second speed to a company representative as to why they should be hired by their company. Company representatives will consist of individuals from the competition’s sponsor companies.

Multilingual Speed Sell Competition

Students can opt into competition in the multilingual category for the speed sell competition. This competition will follow the same format as the Speed Sell Competition but performed entirely in French.
