Student financial assistance
TMU provides students with various financial supports. You can find more information on government financial aid programs such as OSAP, out-of-province student loans, U.S. student loans, and international student financial supports.

Student awards & scholarships
During the 2022/2023 school year, 335 awards and scholarships were distributed, and a total of more than $2.4 million award funds were given to Ted Rogers School of Management students.
Watch as four students describe the life changing awards they received at the Ted Rogers School of Management this academic year. On March 1 and March 8 the Student Awards Ceremony celebrated over 200 award recipients and the donors that make these opportunities possible from all five programs of study. Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a government financial aid program that can help you pay for university.
OSAP can help you pay for:
- tuition
- books, equipment, and supplies
- compulsory student fees charged by a school
- living expenses (full-time students only)
- childcare (for students with children)
Student Wellbeing
Using a student-centered approach, grounded in equity and community inclusion, Student Health and Wellbeing strives for a cohesive, curious, and collaborative approach to health and well-being experiences. Find information for students about mental health and related resources on campus.
Centre for Student Development & Counselling
The CSDC offers free, confidential counselling services in a professional and friendly environment. Services are provided by our team of psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists and counselling interns.
The Medical Centre aims to promote a healthy environment for work and study by offering quality health services to current students, staff and faculty, such as physicals, mental health assessments, assessments for common medical problems, immunizations, and medical certificates.
ThriveTMU is an initiative that aims to provide students with training and resources to feel a sense of support on campus. Students can leverage ThriveTMU to find the balance between academic success and other elements of a healthy lifestyle and ultimately developing capacities for thriving that will serve them throughout their lives.
ThriveTMU developed a 4 session resilience training program designed to teach the five-factor model of resilience (mindfulness, gratitude, optimism, self-compassion, and grit).
Indigenous TMU is your go-to place for everything related to Indigenous resources, events, programs, and initiatives at TMU.
Black Student Success & Engagement
The Black Student Success & Student Engagement initiative is here to empower Black students through customized services, events, and community connections, led by the Office of the Vice-Provost Students (OVPS).
Health Promotion Programs
The Health Promotion Programs division is dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of students by providing current and relevant health information, working with students and staff to develop a healthy community, and ensuring high quality health information and support.
The Test Centre facilitates make-up tests and exams on behalf of TMU faculty and facilitates tests and exams with accommodation for students who are registered for Academic Accommodation Support.
Multi-Faith Rooms
EDI Well-being Space
For the first time, students will be able to access a well-being room right here at the Ted Rogers School of Management, called the EDI Well-being Space. Thanks to the Ted Rogers Students' Society (TRSS), you can now access this space on the 7th floor in room TRS 1-045.
What's the purpose of this room?
This space is open to those of all faiths/spiritualities or none at all, to pray, meditate, reflect, bereave, or find quiet. It is provided to help in managing life, spirituality, health, studies, and well-being.
SCC Multi-Faith Room
The Multi-Faith Room is located on the third floor of Oakham House is available for people of all faiths and followings. The room provides a quiet atmosphere for prayer, worship, meditation, and other spiritual and faith based activities on a drop-in basis. Room hours are posted on the door. Athletic Centres
Recreation and Athletic Centre (RAC)

The Recreation and Athletic Centre (RAC) serves as the central hub for all things wellness, recreation, and sport at Toronto Metropolitan University. Some of the available facilities include:
- 50' x 80' fitness centre with free weights and weight machines
- A 3-lane, 145 m indoor track
- A 25-yard pool
- Women’s and men’s change rooms with sauna
- 2 sprung hardwood floor gyms
Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC)

Toronto Metropolitan University is home to the state-of-the-art Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC), located at the historical site of Maple Leaf Gardens.
