PASS is here to help you with any of the following and more:

Academic considerations vs. academic accommodations

Academic consideration

Academic consideration involves an alternate arrangement or temporary modification to course requirements that may be made in response to students with extenuating circumstances.

Academic Accomodation Support

The TMU libraries provide amazing resources and opportunities for students, some of which include:

Textbooks

Textbooks
Textbook resources

Unsure where to find the textbooks you need for your classes? Resources like the TMU Campus Store, renting from the library, or using access codes for eBooks are all valid ways to find the textbooks you need! Refer to these resources to see what best fits your needs.

IT Department

TRSS Rental Program

The Ted Rogers Students' Society (TRSS) Rental Program is a free program that allows all Ted Rogers School students to borrow essential items from TRSS that you need to ensure your success as a student. With just a few simple steps, TRSS has designed this program to be as simple as possible.

  • All of the rental program items will be available at TRSS Office 2-145. Just visit during regular business hours and ask to borrow an item!
  • A deposit of a OneCard (or another form of ID/credit card) will be required. The deposit will be returned to you once the items borrowed are returned
  • Return the item(s) within 2 business days so that other students can use them as well!

Study/collaborative workspaces

There are study/collaborative workspaces all around campus. These rooms provide students with a quiet environment for group study/discussion without having to worry about being disrupted. There are rooms in the Ted Rogers School building, Student Learning Centre (SLC), and the library.

International Exchange

Take advantage of all the world has to offer by studying abroad. Apply to go on an exchange for a semester or a full year and receive full academic credit, equivalent to a full course load. The Ted Rogers School of Management has exchange partners across the world, including Australia, Denmark, Germany, France, England, Ireland, Mexico, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Austria, Sweden, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, and many more.

Academic integrity

Throughout university, students will likely face many situations in the face of peer pressure as well as their own values to make decisions about academic integrity. Some common examples include: a friend asking for notes, a group partner sharing a cheating website, using AI to complete assignments, and more. These methods can all be used responsibly and effectively; however, there is a high risk of academic misconduct, and this is the student's responsibility to be aware of.

There are many ways to learn about academic integrity including: talking directly to professors or teaching assistants, visiting the Academic Integrity Office Students website or contacting the Academic Intergrity Office by email or booking a drop-in meeting (external link, opens in new window)

5-minute simulations

The 3 short simulations (interactive stories) within the module below will let you experience what it's like to be faced with pressure to cheat, to consider how you would choose, and see the consequences that might flow from different choices. The simulations have been created by Choice Point Solutions Inc. and are about five minutes each. To gain your TedPoints, please ensure to complete the feedback survey at the end of each simulation.
