Toronto Metropolitan University is back in the top 15 in Canada for citations per paper and top 10 in H-index citations in the 2025 QS World Universities Rankings in Business and Management Studies.

The QS World University Rankings are the most widely read university rankings in the world, assessing 5,663 universities and 15,700 academic programs across 105 countries and territories.

TMU’s Business and Management Studies came in #11 in Canada for citations per paper, and #7 in Canada for H-index citations in the 2025 QS Rankings. This is an improvement from last year where it ranked #16 and #11, respectively. This index measures the productivity and impact of the published work of a researcher. It is based on the set of the academic’s most cited papers and the number of citations they have received in other publications.

“This performance is evidence that we are making steady progress in solidifying our stature as one of Canada’s top groups of management researchers,” says Ozgur Turetken, Associate Dean, Research, Ted Rogers School. “We are confident that our best days are yet to come.”
