Canadian College of Health Information Management

Students graduating from the Ted Rogers School of Management’s Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) will now have the opportunity to be qualified to work as certified health information professionals thanks to the program’s recent accreditation.

The BHA program has been accredited by the  Canadian College of Health Information Management  (external link, opens in new window) (CCHIM), which will allow graduating students to take the Certified Health Information Management (CHIM) exam. This designation is well recognized across the country and opens the door to a network of qualified health professionals working in the field through the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).

“We are very excited about this new partnership and the many professional opportunities it will bring to our students in the Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) program,” says Cynthia Holmes, Dean, Ted Rogers School.

Ted Rogers School’s BHA program was the first undergraduate program of its kind in Canada specifically designed to assist healthcare professionals interested in advancing into management positions in health service organizations. It is well suited for full-time working professionals, as it offers flexible course delivery options, a fully online mode of delivery and a practicum capstone project.
