TRSM students make their mark at IBM Sales Summit Intern Challenge

Congratulations to the TRSM students that claimed first and second prize in this year’s IBM Sales Summit Intern Challenge.
A six-person team comprised of three TRSM students (Winston Devendrarajah, Jayden Pereira and Zain Abedin) won first prize for their AI sales solution for Manulife. The second place team was also made up of a TRSM student (Scott Moreira) and graduate (Wajeeh Sheikh). Our students held leadership positions in both winning teams as well.
Throughout the course of their co-op term at IBM, 27 interns from across Canada compete in six teams to create a proposal/sales presentation for a client. Teams are given eight weeks to provide an IBM solution to the client, with a business case, problem space, solution, impact and implementation. Their presentation is then judged by the President of IBM Canada and other company executives for quality, industry knowledge, value proposition and the understanding of the solution.
