Ambreen Bhaloo
Overview
Ambreen Bhaloo has a passion for family business and the next generation of leaders. She comes from a business family herself and understands first-hand the complex and competing demands of family, business/investment, and ownership. When she joined the family business, she was eventually confronted with what seemed like opposing demands of leadership and raising her own family. Ambreen’s heart led her to focus on her own family and step into consulting/project management for the various operating businesses.
With a love for personal development and growth, eventually she turned to intrapreneurship and founded her own coaching business and family enterprise advisory practice, with a focus on supporting enterprising families in the development of their human capital, the next generation of stewards and leaders. She is also actively involved on her family’s board.
Ambreen brings a unique blend of passion, emotional intelligence, maturity and cross-cultural experience to her work, service and life. She lives in Toronto with her children and together with her partner enjoys travel, music and nature. She has served within the Ismaili Community in various capacities and continues to give back. Currently she is a member of the Board of Family Enterprise Canada’s Foundation. She holds an honors’ degree from Western University and a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC) and an FEA (family enterprise advisor).
