According to a report by the United Nations, approximately 300 million tons of plastic waste are produced globally every year, and this number is expected to double by 2034. In addition to the plastic waste problem, liquid hand soap often contains harsh chemicals that can be harmful to the skin and the environment.

SoapTabs is a revolutionary solution that offers an eco-friendly alternative to traditional liquid hand soap. Our product is made with a formula that comes in the form of dissolvable tablets, eliminating the need for plastic packaging commonly found in traditional liquid hand soap products. By avoiding plastic packaging, we are reducing the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in landfills or pollutes our oceans, contributing to the global plastic pollution crisis. Furthermore, most liquid soap products on the market contain up to 90% water, which means that companies have to ship water, increasing carbon emissions during transportation. SoapTabs formula is concentrated, which reduces the amount of water required during production, and also decreases the weight and volume of the product, leading to less carbon emissions during transportation. SoapTabs is a cost-effective solution that helps to protect the planet while promoting health and wellness for everyone.

As someone with a business background, I understand that for most low-cost products, you're really paying for distribution and retail placement, not necessarily the true cost of the product. So, I began to wonder, what is the actual cost of soaps, shampoos, and detergents? In reality, these products have an incredibly low cost because big companies prioritize competing with price rather than quality. For companies that have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in manufacturing infrastructure specifically for liquid products, the only way to stay competitive is by sourcing the lowest quality ingredients.

Currently, we are in the ideation stage and focusing on final variations before going to market. We plan to sell our product to businesses like restaurants, cafes, malls and hotels as it will provide not only a revenue channel but a very important marketing channel to our potential at-home consumers.
