Artist-in-Residence

This residency supports an artist interested in developing socially engaged arts practices and critical responses to social issues through engagement in creative processes. The residency offers an innovative approach to reimagining aspects of academic life beyond those of teaching, professional practice, and research.
The selected artist brings new networks and helps forge connections to communities with which Ryerson may not have been previously engaged. The residency, in addition to advancing the ongoing art practice of the artist, assists in creating exceptional student learning experiences.
