SIROCCO 2025

Travel & Local Information

SIROCCO 2025 will take place in the historic town of Delphi (external link)  (see google maps link (external link, opens in new window) ), Greece, at the European Cultural Centre of Delphi (external link) .  The town is primarily built along one main street  which runs through the town from east to west, spanning approximately 2km. The morphology of Delphi town is characterized by its amphitheatrical layout, built along the slopes of Mount Parnassus. The town follows the natural contours of the mountain, with narrow, winding streets and terraced buildings that offer stunning views of the valley of Phocis and the Gulf of Corinth.

The European Cultural Centre of Delphi (ECCD) (see google maps link (external link, opens in new window) ) is located on the western side of Delphi town. It is situated slightly outside the main town center, in a more secluded and peaceful area surrounded by nature. On the eastern side of Delphi town is the Delphi Archaeological Museum and Site (see google maps link (external link, opens in new window) ), approximately 1.6 km away and a 25-minute walk from the conference site.
