Giving to SID
Housed in a renovated post-and-beam warehouse in downtown Toronto, The School of Interior Design is one of Ontario’s oldest university degree-granting interior design programs. Started in 1948, the school has earned widespread industry respect due to the accomplishments of its faculty and more than 1,600 alumni.
Driven by a mission to provide students with a rigorous and provocative education that expands personal horizons and empowers individuals and communities, the school offers a close-knit, highly supportive learning culture—ideal for those with a passion for design and alternative thinking.
Our students choose The School of Interior Design because it offers experiential learning opportunities in which academic study intersects with practical application. The support of our alumni, friends and industry partners is critical to ensure we have the resources available to provide these opportunities.
More than ever, the field needs the unique educational and experiential training offered by The School of Interior Design. Gifts to the School provide new opportunities for learning and discovery, allowing us to push the boundaries and influence design in Canada.
