I am a Metis from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and my family's Nation is Pinaymootang First Nation. When I was a kid, there was a Canadian TV show called "The King of Kensington." Winnipeg was the cosmopolitan centre of my universe until that moment when I fell in love with a neighbourhood in Toronto. I remember when 5-year-old me declared, this is where I would live when I grew up. How I got here is an epic tale of adventure for another time, but the one consistency on my travels has been working as an administrator in education. Students keep one sharp and up to date. They add value to my work because Administrators and students, via different avenues, are looking to bring order from chaos then showcase the results. I have nearly 30 years of support administration for education and skills gathered from a diverse collection of broad and boutique industries.
