Jyhling Lee is an architect, artist, and educator. She is committed to exploring the socially enabling role of design within the built environment. Common in her work is the desire to enhance the human experience of a place and to inspire the civic imagination. Through her work in architecture, interior design, public art, and public spacemaking, her interdisciplinary practice, Figureground Studio, focuses on a context specific and integrated design approach to creating experientially enriching inclusive environments.
