Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 Course Intentions

We are writing to let you know about the mandatory course intention period for the upcoming academic year.

What are course intentions?

Course intention is the process where you indicate on MyServiceHub the courses you wish to take in the upcoming academic year. Course intentions are used to generate your course schedules, which are released ahead of the start of the term.

When do course intentions happen?

The course intention period begins at 6 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, and remains open for you to make your selections until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

Why should I complete my course intentions?

Participating in course intentions positions you for success and means you...

• will be assigned an early priority enrolment appointment
• will be automatically enrolled into your selected courses*
• could receive OSAP, RESP and award funding sooner

*Some exceptions may apply.

How do I complete my course intentions?

Select your course intentions on MyServiceHub (opens in new window) . The course intention process follows similar steps as the process for course enrolment. Please visit the Course Intentions page for detailed instructions.

Note: If you only plan on attending one term (i.e. fall or winter), you must still select course intentions for the term you are planning to attend.

Next Steps

If you participate in course intentions, you will be automatically scheduled into your fall term courses and be assigned a priority enrolment appointment on MyServiceHub in early August. During your enrolment period, you will have the opportunity to make changes to your course schedule. If you haven't completed your course intentions, you'll be required to wait until the open enrolment period to select your courses. Visit the Course Enrolment page for enrolment dates.
