2023 Virtual Live Pitch Event

Open to all TG Toronto teams

Event Details:

Our Technovation Girls Toronto virtual live pitch event will celebrate all of the hard work you have done throughout this 2023 season. You will present your pitch live (not pre-recorded) over Zoom. You will have 4 minutes to pitch to a panel of judges and then answer questions. The judges will provide feedback on your projects.

Important Note: 

This is a Toronto chapter event with unofficial judging. We will award prizes to participants and grand prizes to the top teams, based on the pitches, but these chapter results will not affect the judging in the global Technovation competition.

Our Toronto teams will be officially judged online based on your entire submissions.

All teams are welcome to register for this chapter event, even if you do not submit to the global competition. After registering, you will receive a link to attend the event.

Your Pitch

While judging will be unofficial, your live pitch should cover the same features you submitted to the global competition. The judges will NOT see the other components of your submission, so you need to sell your project in your pitch. The judges will score you on the same criteria as the pitch component in the judging rubrics (external link)  for the global competition. These are for the same for the junior and senior divisions. Since the event is live, the judges will also assess how well you answer their questions, and show evidence of collaborative teamwork.
