FOS Research Symposium & Networking Event

The third FOS Research Symposium and Networking event will take place on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in POD 250. FOS faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to register and attend!

This will be an opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues in other departments to learn more about their SRC activities and identify possible opportunities for interdisciplinary and collaborative work. Undergraduate students and other members of the TMU community are welcome to attend the poster session in the afternoon.

The preliminary agenda for the day includes:

1) Panel discussion: How does AI impact the research process and the acquisition of research skills

2) Faculty and trainees presentations (3-5 min each) focused on research collaborations

3) Graduate students & postdoctoral fellows research poster session (please see complete guidelines  (google doc) here (external link) ).

There will also be plenty of time for networking during the provided lunch and the subsequent poster session.
