Kelly Snow

I am a policy planner for the Environmental Planning Unit in the Strategic Initiatives, Policy & Analysis Section of Toronto City Planning.  I graduated from York University’s Faculty of Environmental Studies with a master of environmental studies in Planning in 2001. I have been with Toronto City Planning since July 2003 and am staff lead on the city’s:

  • Lights Out Toronto public awareness campaign
  • Bird-friendly development guidelines
  • Best practices for bird-friendly glass
  • Best practices for effective lighting
  • Toronto's road ecology initiative
  • Chimney swift protection policies
  • Biodiversity series
  • Biodiversity strategy

I also work on the application of the Toronto Green Standard in the planning process for new developments.
