Dr. Zikra Awosanmi

Dr. Zikra Awosanmi is a second year Family Medicine Resident at McMaster University, Brampton Site. She grew up right here in Brampton where she developed a passion for mentorship and outreach to equity deserving communities. Throughout her medical training, she has been heavily involved in supporting Black pre-med students on their journey towards a career in medicine, particularly through the community of support program. In her free time, she enjoys multiple crafting hobbies including sewing, knitting and crocheting. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys trying to be self-sufficient.
