Dr. Yashasavi Sachar

Yashasavi Sachar is a second-year Internal Medicine resident at Western University. Born in India and raised in Brampton, he completed a Bachelor of Medical Science in Interdisciplinary Sciences, followed by Medical School at Western University. Yashasavi's interests include social innovation, previously co-founding local startups in Brampton, and a nonprofit incubator in London. His research interests include accessibility to transplant centers and addressing barriers to screening in high-risk patients.

He is very excited to help welcome students to the TMU School of Medicine and to help showcase the diversity and opportunities for medical education in Brampton!
