Sador Bereketab

Sador Bereketab is a medical student at the University of Toronto. Sador’s interest in pursuing medicine was largely fueled by witnessing the healthcare barriers faced in her Eritrean community. Sador has led improving the accessibility of classical music programs from which she has transferred skills to improving the accessibility of medical education for underrepresented students. As Co-President of her Black Medical Student Association, Sador supports Black learners and pre-medical applicants, as well as mobilizing health education and resources within Black communities. She hopes to shape a medical school that prioritizes community and invests in the potential of all their learners.
