Marium Jaffery

Marium Jaffery is an undergraduate student at Toronto Metropolitan University, passionate about fostering diversity, empathy and community in the Health and Safety field. Marium is currently pursuing Occupational Health and Safety. Growing up in a large, Muslim-South Asian family, Marium wants to foster an environment of diversity and community values. Her journey to engage in enhanced educational experiences began during the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating the challenges of online learning. Marium is now dedicated to extracurricular experiences, aiming to promote student welfare and professional growth. Outside of her academic pursuits, Marium enjoys spending time with her four cats, reflecting her love for animals, and empathy for all living things. She aspires to apply her leadership skills and health and safety knowledge to make a positive and lasting impact within the Toronto Metropolitan University community.
