Ryan Sykes

Contract Lecturer, Production Training and Support Staff

Ryan Sykes is a senior technical support staff member for the RTA School of Media. Additionally, he is a contract lecturer for the RTA’s Sport Media program, leading 1st and 2nd year multi-camera studio production classes as well as functioning as a Technical Producer for RTA’s RamsLive initiative. Ryan got his industry start working in production related jobs for the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Argonauts and Oshawa Generals and for broadcaster Rogers Sportsnet, working in graphics and later as a broadcast editor. Beyond live multi-camera production, he also active in the world of post-production, teaching Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Final Cut Pro X. When he is not at Toronto Met, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as fishing and golfing. He is a proud graduate of RTA from 2008.
