Sabrina Jalees
Sabrina Jalees is a writer, comedian and actor based in the United States. Currently writing for NBC’s Crowded, she has appeared on Last Comic Standing, Flashpoint, MTV’s Failosophy, VH1’s Best Week Ever and in Lifetime’s, Mom at Sixteen. Jalees has received Gemini and International Emmy nominations as the host of YTV’s In Real Life and performed numerous times at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival. A recurring guest on Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore, Jalees is also the host of popular weekly serial, My Sexy Podcast.
Jalees is well known for her decade-long run as a commentator on Much Music’s Video On Trial, and for her TEDxToronto talk on the importance of honesty and embracing diversity, both of which kick-started her career. She has previously written, performed and held down the news desk on CBC’s iconic This Hour Has 22 Minutes and, in 2014, made her Comedy Central debut in Adam Devine’s House Party. Her web series, How Many Questions, is currently in production with Comedy Central’s CC Studios.
