Michael Landsberg

Michael Landsberg was searching for a path in life when Toronto Met opened its doors to him. RTA gave him the chance to develop skills that ultimately would give him the career he dreamed of. At 27, Michael landed one of the most coveted jobs in broadcasting; he was selected by TSN to be one of its original hosts. Michael remains at TSN. Over the course of his time at TSN, Michael has been blessed with the chance to do more amazing things than he ever thought possible. In 1997, TSN launched a unique and novel talk show, Off The Record with Michael Landsberg. It lasted 18 seasons and some 4,000 shows and easily became Canada’s longest running sports talk show. Perhaps the highlight of his career came in 2010 when Michael was asked to be CTV’s host in Whistler for the Olympics.
In 2009 on Off The Record he said, “I suffer from depression. I am not ashamed, or embarrassed and I am not weak”. In 2016, Michael launched SickNotWeak which has been life changing for many Canadians.
