As Co-President of Blue Ant Studios, Matthew Hornburg champions the creative development and production of the company’s original scripted, factual, kids & family and interactive divisions. An innovative leader, he has managed cross-platform properties including Splatalot, What’s in a Name? and deafplanet.com, which have collectively aired in over 120 countries and received 200 million interactive game plays globally. Hornburg has also established a partnership with artistic powerhouse Cirque du Soleil Média, which took his former company, marblemedia, into bold new arenas.

The industry has acknowledged Matthew Hornburg and Mark Bishop’s trailblazing work with accolades including Playback’s Outstanding Achievement Award and the title of Transmedia Producer of the Year, a Lions Gate/Maple Pictures Innovative Producer Award, multiple Canadian Screen Awards and a prestigious World Summit Award from the United Nations. Hornburg also sits on RTA’s Program Advisory Committee and lectures at numerous universities and colleges.
