Kim Wilson
Kim Wilson is dedicated to children’s television and interactive content in public television. From TVOntario to the CBC, she’s had an unwavering drive to develop high-quality original content to entertain and educate kids from preschool to tween. Kim is a leader in developing and blending television with interactive content and community events that create engaging experiences for children. Through worldwide partnerships, Kim has inspired kids across Canada and the globe with convergent and innovative programs and initiatives.
She has garnered multiple awards including Geminis, NHK Japan Prize, Canadian New Media and iParenting awards, the Columbus International Film & Video festival, the New York Festival of Television Programming and Promotion, and others. She gives back through her role on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Children’s Television, and by teaching Children’s Television at Toronto Met. Kim was previously the Creative Head, Children’s and Youth Programming at the CBC and is currently Co-Director of the Centre for Scholars and Storytellers.
