Blair Powers

Blair Powers is a partner and founder of Sinking Ship Entertainment. He leads the production financing for all of Sinking Ship’s television and digital properties. He is an executive producer on all Sinking Ship series including This is Daniel Cook, Annedroids, Odd Squad and Dino Dan, for which he won an Emmy in 2015. As well, Blair heads up the interactive division of the company, producing digital apps, games, AR and VR content to create transmedia experiences for Sinking Ship’s series. Blair began his career after graduating from the RTA School of Media (formerly School of Radio & Television Arts) at Toronto Met. He is a Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) member and is currently on the Digital Governance Committee of the Canadian Screen Awards.
