Alan Hamel

Alan Hamel is a television star, actor, writer and producer. He starred in the CBC’s children’s television show, Razzle Dazzle, from 1961 to 1964. In the late 1960s, he hosted two game shows on the ABC network, Wedding Party and The Anniversary Game, which eventually led to his own talk show on CTV, The Alan Hamel Show. He has appeared in over three thousand hours of Canadian television. 

Producer of Blonde on Broadway, music specials, series and movies for all three US networks, his achievements also include a partnership with dear friend Dick Clark for two TV series syndicated in the US and Canada; Mantrap and The Sensuous Man. 

Hamel is also the Founder/Chairman and CEO of The Somers Companies, which manufactures over one thousand products; health, beauty, food, appliances, fashion, publishing and fitness. Together with life partner Suzanne Somers, they continue to create products that contribute to leading a long and healthy life.
