Peter Sussman

Co-founder and Executive Chairman, Aver Media

Peter Sussman is currently executive chairman and director of Kew Media Group Inc., and the co-founder and  executive chairman of Aver Media, now part of BMO Financial Group. Prior to this appointment, he was one of the controlling shareholders of Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. and the CEO of its Entertainment Group. At Alliance Atlantis Entertainment Group, he was responsible for overseeing the worldwide production and distribution of motion pictures and television shows, including a catalogue of Academy®, Emmy® and Golden Globe® -award winning productions. As a producer, Sussman is best known for launching the CSI franchise and for his personal achievements with projects including Joan of Arc, Nuremberg, Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, and Hitler: The Rise of Evil, all of which are multiple award nominees and winners.
