Robert (Rob) Sopov has 20 years of progressive leadership experience within world class organizations including Johnson and Johnson and Kraft Foods. Rob joined Johnson and Johnson Canada in 2008 and held various Finance leadership positions across both the J & J Consumer and Pharma businesses (Janssen Canada). In 2014, he transitioned over into the sales organization and lead the Walmart sales team. In 2016, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer for J&J Canada’s Consumer business.
Rob has a strong passion and demonstrated track record developing high performance business teams and shaping company strategies to compete within the ever changing Canada CPG marketplace. He is looking forward to sharing his experiences and learning as he partners with the members of the Ted Rogers School of Retail Management Advisory Council.
Rob earned an Honours BA degree specializing in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
