Laura Smith

Vice President, Customer Experience & Insights, Canadian Tire Corporation

Laura leads the Customer Insights team at Canadian Tire, where she partners with teams across the company to better understand customer behaviour through research, feedback, and rich customer data. She’s held several roles at CTC, including leading business planning for the company, where she gained valuable experience integrating work across such a large and complex retail organization.

Prior to Canadian Tire, Laura was a Senior Manager at Accenture, working mostly in Retail and focused on strategic planning, operating model design and implementation, as well as analytic engagements, positioning clients for growth opportunities.

Laura holds an HBA and MBA from the Ivey Business School, and always a keen academic, is excited to join the Program Advisory Council. She looks forward to bringing her industry experience together with the team to promote growth opportunities for the program and its students.
