Jill MacDougall
Jill has worked in the apparel industry since graduating from the University of Victoria in 2012. She began her career as an intern in Visual Merchandising for Kit and Ace, where she discovered her passion for working with product, collaborating with creative teams, and project management. After spending just over a year at Kit and Ace, Jill joined lululemon to continue her passion for Visual Merchandising. After spending time with the team there, she decided to pursue more operational focused work and joined the Design Operations team which concentrated on ensuring the product landed in stores on time and on budget, following a rigorous go-to-market calendar. Later, that team re-organized and Jill ended up working in the Product Engagement space where she developed strong project and program management skills by creating internship, practicum, mentorship, and volunteer programs for the Global Product team – comprising of 1000+ individuals on a global scale. Most recently, Jill has transitioned to the Talent Acquisition team leading the IDEA Global Internship Program on an enterprise level – funneling entry-level talent in through the business, starting with internships and moving them into full-time positions within the organization. Jill enjoys running, going to spin class and skiing in Whistler on the weekends.
