The Government of Canada has announced new funding to support the research of thirty-one faculty experts from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).

A variety of innovative projects across disciplines, from migration to climate vulnerability to mental health, will be supported by more than $2.7 million in Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) funding through Insight Grants, Insight Development Grants and Knowledge Synthesis Grants.

“I want to congratulate all the TMU recipients,” said Steven N. Liss, vice-president, research and innovation at TMU. “These projects will help transform our understanding of diverse societal issues and move us toward a more equitable and sustainable society for all.”
