The University is undertaking a comprehensive review of Senate  (PDF file) Policy 63, originally titled Policy on Ownership of Student Work in Research.  Policy 63 was introduced and last reviewed in 1989.  Since that time, there have been numerous changes in the regulatory environment and in best practices related to intellectual property, copyright and commercialization processes.  Through the review of Policy 63, Ryerson has the opportunity to establish an Intellectual Property Policy for the University.

Town halls will be held so that members of the Ryerson community can provide feedback on the  (PDF file) draft revised policy. We encourage members of the Ryerson community to attend and provide feedback.
