Admin Training Sessions
Student Records and Operations Support are committed to providing Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) administrative staff with support associated with academic activities. As part of our supporting role, we offer MyServiceHub training sessions regularly throughout the semester.
If you would like to set up a training session, please email adminsupport@torontomu.ca.
Session Descriptions
All sessions are facilitated by the Operations Support Unit.
MyServiceHub Introduction
Participants will navigate the Admin Centre in MyServiceHub and learn to:
- Locate student information (personal and academic)
- View student schedules (weekly, and list view)
- Identify service Indicator (Holds) details and their impacts
- Understand how to view probationary contract information
Probationary Contracts
Participants will learn:
- Policy relevance, best practices, impacts and timelines
- Academic Standing categories and criteria
- Types of Probationary Contracts
- Probationary Contract entry and maintenance
Second Chances: Fresh Start, Fresh Start Transfer & Reinstatement
Participants will learn:
- Policy relevance, best practices and work flow for Fresh Start, Fresh Start Transfer and Reinstatement requests
- Differences between Extended Academic Probation (EAP) 1 Contracts, Extended Academic Probation (EAP) 2 Contracts and Probationary Contracts
- Accommodation options for Fresh Start, Fresh Start Transfer and Reinstatement eligible students
Block Enrolment
Participants will learn to:
- Create student blocks
- Create class blocks
- Merge class and student blocks and process the enrolment request
