Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)

Two men practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on a blue mat surrounded by their class.

Develop new skills in these instructor-led, small group classes over a 10-week period. Pre-registration is required and each class builds on the last.

TMU Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club offers a welcoming space for students to learn and practice the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a martial art focused on grappling and ground techniques.   Our Club is open to all skill levels, from completely new to the activity to experienced practitioners.

Through regular training sessions, members will develop physical fitness, mental resilence, and problem solving skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.   BJJ is often describedas the closest thing to mental chess, where each move requires startegy and adaptation.   Our aim is to make BJJ accessible to everyone, offering high qualityinstruction at affordable rates.   In addition to training, we will host social events and seminars to foster community and provide opportunitiesto learn from high-level practitioners.
