Victoria Ingram

PhD Student, Clinical Psychology

Victoria studies in Dr. Karen Milligan's Child and Family Wellness through Integrated Systems and Evaluation lab.

Victoria is entering her final year of the MA-PhD program in clinical psychology, specializing in assessment and evidence-based treatment of children and adolescents. She has completed practica training at St. Michael’s Psychology Clinic, Holland Bloorview Hospital, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, and SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health. As a member of Dr. Karen Milligan’s Lab, Victoria's research examines the experiences of mothers in substance use treatment through qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Funded by SSHRC and the Ryerson Innovation Circle Fund, Victoria's dissertation is evaluating the introduction of an evidence-based parenting program (Attachment Biobehavioural Catchup-ABC) into two integrated substance use treatment sites in Ontario. During her time at Ryerson, Victoria has supported a range of departmental initiatives, including as President of the Psychology Graduate Student Association (2018-2019) and as Co-chair of the Psychology Workshop Committee (2017-2019). As a mature student and mother to two young girls, Victoria is grateful for the tremendous mentorship and support she has received from Ryerson faculty and staff, which has helped her to achieve a meaningful balance across her academic and family lives.
