Olivia studies in Dr. Martin Antony's Anxiety Research and Treatment Lab.
Olivia is particularly interested in researching how contextual and systemic factors influence the experience, diagnosis, and treatment of anxiety and related disorders. For example, she is interested in how stereotype confirmation concerns and intergroup racial dynamics impact social anxiety. She is passionate about decolonizing and disrupting clinical psychology and training so that psychological services can be beneficial to everyone. Olivia has been involved as a member on the APA Graduate Students Committee on the Advancement of Racial and Ethnicity Diversity (CARED), the Mental Health and Wellbeing Group (MHWBG), as well as founding the Graduate Student Anti-Racism Initiative (GSARI) with her peers.
