Allyson Miller appointed Director, Academic Integrity Office

The Academic Integrity Office welcomes Allyson Miller as its new Director. Stepping into the role on August 14, 2023, Allyson brings more than a decade of experience in the field of academic integrity.

Originally joining the office as Academic Integrity Specialist in 2019, Allyson has been a leader in the university’s efforts to address the effects of generative artificial intelligence on higher education. Prior to joining TMU, she was the manager of learning services at Brock University, where she led a team in providing student success learning support. At Brock, Allyson was also a member of the Academic Integrity Advisory Committee and was involved in the development of a central reporting system for cases of academic misconduct. 

Allyson will be a great asset to the office, where she will help lead TMU’s continued efforts to build a culture of academic integrity and excellence.
