Charles Falzon is a distinguished educator, having taught at Toronto Metropolitan University for more than 20 years, and former media executive with award-winning productions to his credit. As the previous chair of The RTA School of Media, he renewed the school’s reputation, fostered cross-disciplinary collaborations, supported the development of refreshed curriculum, and established the successful Transmedia Zone.

Charles has managed global media enterprises in the UK, US, Japan and Latin America, leading distribution, marketing, publishing functions as well as live events, theme parks and brand development. He has also produced nearly 2,000 hours of television programming, feature films and documentaries

A graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University's Radio and Television Arts undergraduate program, Charles holds a master’s in theology from the University of Toronto and a master’s in spirituality from Regis College.  His research interests include transmedia marketing and media ethics.
