
Dianne Nubla is an instructor for Professional Communication at The Creative School, where she teaches a wide variety of students ranging from undergrads to working professionals. Her research interests include visual rhetoric, information design, knowledge dissemination, and plain language communication.
Dianne was part of the Master of Professional Communication inaugural cohort at Toronto Met. Her experience includes working with industry professionals to create engaging, user-friendly educational deliverables which infuse graphics, animations and concise wording. Furthermore, she has worked with physicians to help translate their normally complex research into an accessible form through the use of jargon-free language and information graphics.
Dianne is actively involved in her community. One of her initiatives include volunteering as a Patient Education Editor for the University Health Network (UHN), where she edits a series of pamphlets used by the four hospitals.
